TOPIC 3:
"If money were the only criterion by which a child's welfare can be gauged, then a baby bought for as much as RM40, 000 on the black market would seem set for life. For money-rich but child-poor couples, it is a small price to pay to introduce a small life into their home. the cot is gilded, the blanket monogrammed, the college fund filled the brim. All that's wanting is a bun in the oven. And where there is a baby-for-sale racket, money can indeed by happiness. And after all, why not?" (NST, March 3, 2013)
How do you view above statement?

Based on the statement above, i think we should not support baby for sale. There are many people out there who ever had bought the baby especially rich people. The married couples who are not given child in their marriage, they tend to buy baby from a syndicate or whoever who sell the baby. I think it is true that they are rich and afford to buy the baby but for me, not everything they can have by using their wealth and money. I dont agree that money can buy our happiness.

Besides, for me, i think that we should not do the baby-for-sale as the baby is not a 'thing'. The baby is human living. They are not the 'thing' that should be in the activity of selling and buying. At first, the married couple who buy the baby will love the baby but what if when the baby grow up and the love from the parents will start to fade? It will give a bad effect to the future of the baby themselves as they are not their biological children for their parents. In addition, when the baby grows up, they will know their true identity which they are not the real children for their parents so they will be very affected by it.
